Went for BB & GB Combined Enrolment Service today. This is my 1st time going back as a graduated senior and i finally got the chance to sit back and watch the performance instead of performing.
The other reason is because Zhili, Kim Hong & I were told that we were receiving an award as well, which turned out to be a Service Award =)
After enrollment service, Pam accompanied me to the CC near my home for my blood donation. As i'm 16, i had to present a consent form signed by my parents -.-''. Still, I went through all the stations smoothly till station 4. The nurse poke that irritating little needle into my finger and squeezed my blood out into a straw (looks like yakult's straw) and a small disc to do the test. Gosh, it hurts!! However, the test revealed that my iron level was not high enough. The min. level is 12.5 and mine is 11.9 .
The nurse suggested that i eat more meat (i ate more meat than veggies everyday alr lo!) and gave me iron tablets to increase my iron level. Well, i'll try again soon =)
(ps: in case you're wondering why i went for the BD, it's bcoz i think it's fun & to TRY and overcome my fear of needles.)
