Didn't manage to swim much today as my bruised and swollen ankle prevented me from sprinting. And thanks Eugene for offering to be my staircase as i couldn't climb up. =)
Went for my 2nd blood donation attempt @ Eunos CC after that and yup! it was a success!! =D
Finally passed the iron level test, but Pam failed at that station. Don't worry Pam, u'll succeed next time =)
Proceed to the final station and sat down on the chair while the nurse tried to locate my vein. After switching arms, she finally located it on the left arm but said that it was quite small. A syringe of blood was taken and that part was quite painful, but thankfully, the inserting of the yakult size straw needle into my arm wasn't painful at all. But scary to look at =/
My little vein proved worthy of praise after the nurse realised that it was quite firm! Which means that my blood flowed smoothly and fast, taking only 8 mins to fill the whole bag instead of 15-20 mins. Ended off with a green bandage with little dinosaurs around my arm. :DD
