Met up with the Fivesome today for our promise to always gather together on every National Day to catch up, celebrate Joey and my bdae in advance, and of course, to celebrate Singapore's bdae.
Woke up 8.20am to go over to Pam's house to prepare the sandwiches and we went to Marina Barrage (my first visit) to have a picnic with the Fivesome. It was an awesome place, except that the weather was seriously too hot! But thank god that it's extremely windy down there.

Was surprised by the cake they bought as i was just expecting a slice like last year. Thanks girls!
We ate the picnic stuff later on but couldn't finish them. Jolene came up with the idea to play games and the loser would have to eat up the leftovers. I got cake with pepper etc.
I will never eat another slice of cake and go for another picnic again for at least a month!
Went to meet Huiying at Cityhall after that with Pam and the 3 of us went to Clearwater for the BB and GB alumni bbq. Turned out that there was another cake there to celebrate the August babies' bdae. Turns out to be Pam's idea again, so,

Had a awesome time there as i got back a little childhood fun at the playground. Can't believe i actually climbed the spider web thingy...childish i know, but fun :)
Learnt a couple of new card games and jokes as well ;)
&&...the best sunday is one when you know there's no school on mon
