Dining in the dark

Just came back from Dining in the Dark!
Very satisfied with every body's performance today including mine.

We gathered at TRCC's black box at 4pm and started the last brief training. Everyone got a little shocked as the exit sign was dimmed so much that the room was practically pitch dark and we could see NOTHING! Kind of panicked as we were really afraid of spillage occurring, and by the looks of the room, the chances were really high.

Wore the apron given to us and we were told to go to E1's canteen to pick up the main dishes back to TRCC. Got looks from everyone as they don't really see people wearing black aprons and scurrying around carrying plates of food. Wore bells around our ankles as well to help us hear each other and we got started.

I blindfolded the 5 diners assigned to me and lead them in 3 by 2. Our eyes adjusted to the darkness by then and were able to see a little. Seated them and we served them the pitcher filled with Ribena. They had to fill it up themselves by putting a finger inside and stopping when they feel the drink. Laughter came from here onwards as some of them didn't managed to feel the drink and continued pouring till the cup overflowed.

Next up was the main dish, Chicken cutlet and fries with 2 packets of chili sauce by the side. Mind you, they have no idea what they were going to be served. When i told them to start, some started slicing away blindly, causing half of their fries to fly off the plate. They had trouble cutting up their cutlet and some gave up, stabbing the cutlet and munching away.

The moment i couldn't held back my giggles and burst out laughing was when Diner 4 called me and said, "JingHan, my cutlet seems impossible to cut...". I looked down and saw that...

SHE WAS SLICING AWAY VIGORIOUSLY AT THE PACKET OF CHILI!!!
LOL!!!!!!!

They totally made my day XDDDD

Other funny stuff consists of :

1. Them stabbing away, trying to locate the fries and sent their forks flying in many different directions as well.

2. Diner 4 unable to locate her mouth.

3. Diner 5 felt the tip of her knife and told her friend that the table is sharp?!?!

4. E.T unable to see at first and navigated by tapping his diners' heads.

5. Ghan Yean stealing his diners' spoons.

6. Zaffan telling his diner to sniff for his chili sauce, and he did.

7. And of course, the scaring of each other. Zaffan and E.T came up behind me and BOO!-ed. Freaked me out.

many more....

Dinner was supposed to be provided but they didn't prepare it in time so we decided to skip it.
We were also given this!
